Nagarathna Manjappa MD, FASN, FACP
Dr. Nagarathna Manjappa is the founding member of Associated Kidney Specialists of the North Bay. She is a board certified nephrologist and a fellow of the American college of physicians and fellow of the American society of nephrology. She courageously embraced the opportunity to secure a practice that was disintegrating. She has rebuilt the practice and has established a reputation for compassionate and quality care.
She completed her medical school in one of the renowned medical schools in India at Bangalore medical college. She completed residency in 2006 and fellowship in nephrology in 2010 at state University of New York, Brooklyn campus and trained under excellent nephrologists. She has worked in several different states and has gained a rich experience in a short time before she moved permanently to Napa in 2012.
Geetha Narayan MD
Dr. Geetha Narayan joins us here in Napa after a stellar career in prestigious Boston Medical Institutions for 30 years. She completed her fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in 1983 and has since been on the staff at St Elizabeth Medical Center, where she maintained several leadership roles in both clinical and academic arenas, rising to full professorship at Tufts Medical School.
She has extensive experience in clinical nephrology, with a scope ranging from common nephrologic diseases to ICU and tertiary care nephrology. With directorship roles in the division of nephrology and medical education, she was actively involved in overseeing the residency and (nephrology) fellowship training programs. She has been the recipient of multiple teaching awards and on the ‘Best Doctors’ list for consecutive years. She also has several publications to her credit in peer-reviewed journals.
She has family in the Bay area and we are pleased she has moved permanently to Napa from Boston.
Trixie Lorraine Cruz Pei MD
Dr. Pei joined Associated Kidney Specialists of the North Bay in Oct 2023. She Completed her Internal Medicine residency at Corewell Health Lakeland hospital in Michigan. She completed her fellowship in Nephrology at Boston Medical Center, Boston Massachussets. She comes with a good experience in diverse communities and a rigorous training. She lives with her family in Napa, with extended family in the area.
Sneha Lakshman MD
Dr. Sneha Lakshman joins Associated Kidney specialists of the North Bay August, 2025. She completed Internal Medicine Residency at Mass General Brigham (MGB) Salem Hospital, Salem, MA. She has completed Critical Care Fellowship at Brown University- Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI in June 2023. She continued with her training and completed Nephrology Fellowship at Stanford University- Stanford Health Care, Palo Alto, CA in June 2025.

Dr. Lai has an established practice in the San Leandro region, but provides coverage on occasional weekends at Hospitals
